they randomly selected from telephone and landline numbers so if there is a particular mechanism that biases the age distributions like the phone distribution ratio among ages differing between blacks and whites please let me know. but if you are not aware of such a biasing mechanism i think its disingenuous to dismiss the study especially if you are motivated by the conclusion. its not the study's fault that somebody misinterpreted it. provide a legitimate interpretation.
also this is a compelling explanation. affecting is spelled with an a, though.

It's a personality flaw of starting from a conclusion and working backward to assemble your facts/evidence and it's what I have been complaining about in my conversations with him recently (and asking about how someone could have made it through years of school like that)

if you tweet that you do not support gay marriage (for any reason) you are very likely to lose your job. but you are considerably less likely to lose your job on the sole basis of being black.
note: discrimination against blacks is wrong and bad. discrimination against conservatives may be justified

You severely underestimate the number of people who just want to hear angry political tirades that align with their existing political views
