also, just because no one is sitting atop the bike does not mean it is not weighted as it's pulled across someone's neck. the force of someone using their upper body to pull the bike along - and especially over uneven terrain - can be a lot more than "unweighted", and weight across a neck doesn't need to be much to do damage.
if pork belly man actually rode the bike, there's a much higher probability that bicycle tiananman dies
dunno why you're stuck on the idea of him dying. it doesn't have to end in death to be wrong and unacceptable behavior
for the record - do you think tiananmen square protests were about one man and 'surviving a tank' or do you think other devastating things also took place? it's entirely debasing to act like the protests didn't contain a lot more than that.

if you scrolled down and read some of my subsequent posts, you would quickly realize that I speculated how much it would hurt to have a bicycle dragged across one's throat and that I don't condone this behavior or think it's excusable in anyway
it should be noted that historically I'm a longtime critic of the Seattle PD and have been consistently so (or for at least the lifetime of this thread if we're talking on the record)
FWIW don't take anything I'm typing too seriously, as I'm no longer approaching this with much of any consideration after you somehow found a way to ascribe weird connotations to me writing an innocuous string of words that meant nothing more than "X is similar to Y"

I was thinking about how a man impeding the forward progress of a tank by standing in front of it, was similar to a man blocking the forward progress of a cop on a bike

Perhaps in retrospect I should have directly referenced tank man instead of tiananmen square so as not to debase the incident before @nyte, however I opted for the latter because I thought a lot of people might not know who tank man is, but that many associate his famous image with the incident.
as much as I want to blame @nyte for misinterpreting my post, I also acknowledge that language is generally a shitty medium of exchange and that you can't expect everyone to know what you're typing about

No, actually, comparing the bike video - flippantly - to Tiananmen Square makes it look like he couldnāt give a fuck about the cop walking the bike over the dudeās head. Or that he doesnāt think the Tiananmen protests were that big of a deal. Because how could you compare them?
