yes. i have asserted this. you are all brainwashed to the cause. when you perceive something opposing the cause, you deploy rhetorical tactics to destroy the opposition in internet debate.
your side isnt necessarily wrong. its just difficult for me to find value in reading.
same thing with asoul btw but he is more polite and merely mildly conservative?
so, you think that it's impossible to understand other people's worldviews, and that your arguments do not necessarily hold up in other people's worldviews?
if you encounter someone who literally hates black people then obviously "black people dying is bad" isn't going to fly. but at least you've actually found the point of disagreement.
I never said your argument was rhetorical flourish. I said it's nonsensical and clearly wrong.
And you clearly have no ability to read if you think my arguments didn't actually engage asoul. Hint: explaining why his blatant misuse of otherization is wrong and makes no sense is a direct argument refuting his worldview. I don't have to engage his worldview to prove it wrong.
I meant exactly what I said. You say you have to prove you're still right even when your argument is examined through their lens. But without a coherent form of logic behind it, that becomes impossible because their worldview is all tautological

from what i can see you are committing an equivocation.
asoul says "you are otherizing them"
you say "i cannot be otherizing them because that violates the definition of otherizing."
well then clearly you are using the same word to refer to two different things. you seem to have placed narrow restrictions on otherization (such that you cannot otherize people in power). maybe this is in line with some theory for otherization but asoul is not talking about that theory.
its a subtle rhetorical tactic. you probably arent even cognizant that you're doing it since your objective is to win the internet argument.
