these people certainly look like respectacble members of society
I eat mostly wild game because I get it for free. Moose, sheep, bison, elk and caribou
The life
Corned beef is the best
Elk and wild turkey are very good.
And as for steak, if you don't like it, there must be something wring with your meat or something wrong with you taste buds. The only seasonings I use are salt and pepper.
Meat in general is pretty bad dude
You really can’t cook if you can’t make a mouth watering plate of beans or tofu, your entire culinary ability is derivative and lacking in creativity or skill
- Buy a quality marbled rib-eye steak.
- Trim fat if desired.
- Sprinkle with salt and fresh-ground pepper.
- Push the salt and pepper into the steak.
- Let it sit at room temp for 30 minutes.
- Pre-heat grill to max temp.
- Toss the steak on the grill. 2 minutes on each side max heat.
- Turn down the heat to minimum. 1 minute on each side. Longer if you like a more medium steak.
- For bonus points, rotate the steak 90 degrees for the second pass to get the crosshatch look.
- Eat. If you wish, garnish with sauteed mushrooms and/or onions.
If you are cooking a steak any other way, you are doing it wrong.
If you do it right with a quality steak and still don’t like it, there is something wrong with your taste buds.
Shut up
Rib-eye is my favorite steak, closely followed by t-bone and new york strip. The new flat iron cut is also very good if you like a very flavorful bloody taste. I prefer the fatty marbled cuts myself.
Flank steak all the way baby
Cheap ass steaks
Beef tongue and calf liver and sweetbreads
All of these are amazing, but are not steaks
Why would you ever trim the fat before grilling it?
Anyone who thinks ribeye isn’t the best steak is a mongoloid
True
Fuck dry aged 18 month wagyu it’s like Mac and cheese it’s hard to fuck up and tards won’t shut up about it
I’ve wanted to try sous-vide cooking but it seems like so much work.
