Stop doing 4 chan
the writers aren't autists: they're black women.
You have no chance to survive make your time.

yeah songs like that work better in a book imo because theres no rush to do anything
i hate long musical numbers in tv/movies
they're shit in the books too imo. even as a fan of lotr i think tolkien gets a slide on being monotonous and plodding simply because he was one of the first
i tried going back and rereading a couple years ago and i just couldn't stomach the amount of songs, genealogy lists, and names of kings i dont really care about
yeah theres a looooot of them
Regarding the latest episode
You saw all the horse tricks Galadriel and others were doing?
Apparently Galadriel's gone through like 3 stunt doubles because they keep getting concussed/seriously injured doing the dumb shit the producers come up with for galadriel on horseback
Also very obvious & terrible CGI on each of their faces during the horse chase - obv had a double riding the horse and badly CGI'd the actor's face on. Lmao
yea i think im just gonna give up on this. havent watched the last 2 episodes and have no desire to tbh
I agree. The simple (intuitive) formula of the original trilogy was made overcomplicated, and the whole thing unravels. Now I want to know the backstory of the orcs. Why does everyone hate them? What did they do wrong? These questions were never meant to be asked. The fourth wall has been broken.
Yes exactly. In one episode galadriel has been transformed into a villain, we are now rooting for the Uruk, and the remaining characters who are intended to be protagonists have such clear plot armor that they are just annoying to see on screen
What I mainly meant was that the original trilogy was a story about pure good versus pure evil. Aryans killing savages. That's intuitive. No one thinks to question that. Now they've made the claim that "good" is diverse and complicated, so then there can't be a pure evil anymore either. Evil must have the same characteristics.
I think the main problem with it is they hired a bunch of women to make 1/3rd of the characters ■■■■■■■■
I've mostly been facetious. I think they've made a lot of mistakes, but broadly what they're doing makes sense with modern sensibilities in mind. This last episode was the best yet and I can't wait for next week.
I've watched half so far, and it is getting depressing.
After watching politics for the last 2 years, I don't need more drama that feeds the flames.
Don't get me wrong.
I am just tired of seeing so many sad stories in the news.
I don't watch vids to see more bad things happen again and again.
Even more so because amazon might cancel it before the happy ending.
OMG Let's let the evil guys live for a while.
Oh wait. Deus Ex Machina.
The bad guys live.
